Hi there this is our first blog! We are the Thorntons- and consist of my husband James, myself Lisa, our two daughters Abagail Rain and Amani Benecia, and a baby on the way. We would like to share our story here and offer our insights thoughts and ideas on wholesome, unmainstream, holy spirit filled living. Our blog will be filled with our adventures and ministry and ideas for living simply and faithfully in an upside down world.
        We currently reside in the Sierra Nevadas of California, where my husband and I met 15 ago .  We live right outside the gate to Yosemite National Park-  our children get to frolic in the meadows that people fly from oversees to come see! Abagail Rain is 4 1/2 and Amani is 2. While to some in the world it might seem like we do not have much, we have the most important things- Joy, faith, and love. We spend our days together and focus on the simple and important things in life. Please follow our adventures as we talk about love, life, Jesus, homeschooling, real food, real riches, and lots more!!
